Cadres, Small Groups, and Mentoring

Building relationships is one of our highest goals in University Ministries. You belong in this place. You discover that when we worship together.  You also discover it as you meet with smaller groups of people.

In a cadre, you get to get to know students, professors, and staff outside of class. You talk about how your major or another topic of interest intersects with your faith. Make connections, ask questions, belong. Cadres are led by a staff or faculty member inviting students to explore deeper a common interest. (See below for a list of the Cadres.)

In a small group, you can connect with a group of other students or staff to help each other grow spiritually.Walk through a season of life together, encourage each other in faith and life decisions, have conversations that matter, and have fun. Most small groups are hosted by students for students. Some are hosted by faculty and staff.

If you want to be in a small group with students, check out the SMC ministry or the Sharpen ministry. If you are interested in a small group with faculty or staff, contact um@landaiztc.com to see if any are open.

Contact University Ministries for more information (email).

The Orthodox Christian

Fellowship Cadre

What can today's Christian learn about vocation from the Eastern Church? The Orthodox Christian Fellowship cadre will be a place for young adults to find community and friendship in their spiritual lives, to learn more about the traditions and practices of the Eastern Orthodox Church, and provide outreach to our local Seattle community.  The cadre is open to all students who identify as Orthodox Christians or are interested in learning about this Christian tradition.
